Job Description:
A national solar, battery storage, and microgrid contractor is hiring an Electrical Engineer to design utility-scale solar PV, battery storage, and charging infrastructure. This is a calculation-heavy design seat, working across engineering, development, and construction rather than sitting off to one side of them. THIS POSITION IS OPEN TO APPLICANTS IN ALL STATES.
What you will run:
Initial system layouts and feasibility analysis
Code-compliant system design and interconnection design
Energy production analysis and electrical load calculations
Single-line and three-line diagrams
Coordination with outside engineering firms
Site assessments and technical plan review
RFP response support and code-based troubleshooting
Compensation
$125,000 to $180,000 base, open at the top end for the right background.

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
8 to 10 years in utility-scale solar PV design, design build, or EPC work
AutoCAD and PVSYST proficiency
Strong critical thinking and organizational skills
Professional Engineer license preferred
NABCEP Certified PV Installation Professional preferred
Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
8 to 10 years in utility-scale solar PV design, design build, or EPC work
