Job Description:
• Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance plans for plant electrical systems and equipment;
• Troubleshoot electrical faults, equipment malfunctions, and system failures, and determine appropriate corrective actions;
• Perform root cause analysis of electrical failures and recommend engineering solutions to prevent recurrence;
• Perform root cause analysis of electrical failures and recommend engineering solutions to prevent recurrence;
• Provide engineering support for the installation, modification, relocation, and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment;
• Manage and monitor plant power distribution systems, including the 13.6 kilovolt substation, electrical distribution panels, Motor Control Centers (“MCC(s)”), and Power Distribution Panels (“PDP(s)”);
• Evaluate and maintain Uninterruptible Power Supply (“UPS”) systems to ensure reliable backup power during outages and abnormal operating conditions;
• Manage Programmable Logic Controller (“PLC”) and Human-Machine Interface (“HMI”) control systems, including troubleshooting, programming, modification, and performance improvement;
• Provide electrical and controls engineering support for utility systems, including Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (“HVAC”) systems, boilers, refrigeration units, pumps, Compressed Dry Air (“CDA”) systems, Demineralized Water (“DI”) systems, and scrubber systems;
• Analyze equipment performance, maintenance history, and operating data to identify reliability issues and improvement opportunities;
• Develop and implement electrical engineering projects to improve system reliability, efficiency, productivity, and operating costs;
• Monitor key maintenance and reliability indicators, including equipment downtime, preventive maintenance compliance, asset utilization, and maintenance costs;
• Prepare technical procedures, maintenance standards, engineering reports, manuals, and electrical system documentation; and
• Evaluate critical electrical spare-parts requirements and support inventory planning based on equipment reliability and operational risk.

Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, or other closely related fields of study;
• At least ten (10) years of professional experience in electrical engineering, electrical equipment maintenance, power distribution systems, or closely related electrical systems;
• Experience with industrial electrical systems and equipment, including high-voltage substations, power distribution systems, electrical equipment inspection, maintenance, and troubleshooting;
• Experience with electrical control and instrumentation systems, including Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) systems and other related industrial control systems; and
• Experience developing and implementing preventive maintenance programs, troubleshooting electrical system failures, supporting electrical system improvement projects, and improving equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
