The Role
Are you ready to take the future of coffee on the road? We are seeking a high-energy, tech-savvy, and reliable Mobile Barista & EV Operator to pioneer our mobile cafe operations. This is far more than a standard barista role—you are the Captain of our state-of-the-art, 100% electric mobile cafe.
You will be the heartbeat of our brand at high-profile events, corporate campuses, and community races, balancing the precision of a craft barista with the logistical expertise of a fleet operator.

Key Responsibilities
• Safe Navigation & Logistics: Expertly pilot our all-electric van (MC1) to various locations across the Greater Houston and Katy areas.
• EV Fleet Stewardship: Manage the "health" of the vehicle, including monitoring battery levels, charging schedules, and technical readiness.
• Elite Craft Execution: Act as the Lead Barista, maintaining Coffee Fellows’ rigorous standards for espresso extraction, milk texturing, and beverage presentation in a high-volume mobile setting.
• Operational Agility: Own the end-to-end event process—from early-morning commissary loading and inventory checks to efficient on-site setup, breakdown, and post-event cleanup.
• Guest Engagement: Serve as a brand ambassador, maintaining a positive, fast-paced "vibe" even during intense peak service windows (e.g., 5K finish lines).

Requirements & Qualifications
• A Clean Track Record: Valid Texas Driver’s License and a spotless driving record are mandatory. Experience with oversized vehicles or delivery vans is highly preferred.
• Barista Proficiency: Experience in a specialty coffee environment. You must be comfortable dialing in espresso, steaming milk, and maintaining hand-crafted drink quality under pressure.
• Tech-Forward Mindset: Proficiency with handheld POS systems, Kitchen Display Systems (KDS), and EV charging interfaces.
• Physical Resilience: Ability to work in a compact mobile space, stand for extended durations, and lift up to 40 lbs (e.g., milk crates, coolers, coffee bags).
• Strategic Problem Solver: Mobile operations are dynamic. We need someone who can troubleshoot on the fly and keep the "show on the road" with a calm, professional demeanor.

Why Coffee Fellows Mobile?
• Sustainable Innovation: Operate the first all-electric mobile cafe fleet in the region.
• Independence: Manage your own "store on wheels" with the freedom of the open road.
• Exciting Variety: Trade the four walls of a cafe for the energy of live events, races, and grand openings.

Compensation & Expectations
• Pay: $ 15-$20/hour + Share of Mobile Tip Pool.
• Availability: Must be available for early-morning shifts (frequently starting at 4:30 AM – 5:00 AM).
