Job Description:
• Assist students in making informed decisions about their educational options, whether full-time or part-time, by consulting with them and guiding them through the following: assessing program and course selection needs, advising on specific program entrance requirements and processes, providing information on successful applicant profiles and strategies for admission to competitive programs, advising on transfer credit, advanced placement, and laddering options to higher credentials, and providing appropriate referrals to agencies, counsellors, or faculty members.
• Provide personalized academic, career, and personal development counselling to students, helping them identify their strengths and interests.
• Understand the unique needs and complexities of our diverse student population and facilitate appropriate referrals to specialized services.
• Collaborate with schools, teachers, and other stakeholders to enhance student success.
• Communicate with parents about students' academic and career development, providing regular updates on their progress.
• Counsel students in emergency situations such as accidents, death of family or friends.
• Provide opportunities to enrich learning through the exploration in the arts, athletics, outdoor education, service, leadership, and more.
• Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with relevant regulations

Job Requirements:
- Minimum of bachelor’s degree in education, psychology, or a related field
- Fluency and efficiently in English
- Knowledge of additional language is an advantage
- Strong service-oriented approach and professional competence
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
