Job Description:
• Create and deliver a well-rounded program to guide students and their families in the upper school (Middle and Senior years) on career paths and post-secondary education options.
• Support students in choosing courses and programs that align with their interests and goals, as well as help them manage their timetables and schedules effectively.
• Manage the college application process for a group of students, making sure all application materials are complete and of high quality.
• Organize visits and orientation sessions at colleges and universities to help students transition smoothly into their next phase of education.
• Design and lead workshops or small group sessions on practical topics like how to take better notes, manage time wisely, handle test anxiety, and prepare for exams.
• Share important academic information with prospective students, their families, and their current counsellors to help them make informed decisions.
• Provide personal support for students dealing with issues like substance use, depression, eating disorders, anxiety, or challenges related to gender, sexuality, self-esteem, family, or relationships.
• Build connections with employers to create opportunities for co-op placements and to help graduating students secure their first jobs.
• Understand the unique needs and complexities of our diverse student population and facilitate the appropriate referrals to specialized services
• Participate events such as high school graduation semester party, present and introduce our school programs, academic information.
• Help students on their orientation programs, introduce the feature of our college
• Help students on their future career selections, real estate selections.
• Counsel students in emergency situations such as accidents, death of family or friends.
• Provide opportunities to enrich learning through the exploration in the arts, athletics, outdoor education service, leadership and more.

Job Requirements:
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree
- Legal status to work in Canada
- Familiarity with canadian education systems and resources.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds
- Professional fluency in an additional language
