Reading Gate White Rock is looking for an Education Consultant
Title: Education Consultant
Employer: Reading Gate White Rock
Opening: 1 position (Permanent, Full-time)
Wage: CAD $37.00 - $39.00 per hour
Working Hours: At least 30 hours per week
Benefit: 4% of vacation pay or 10 days of paid vacation
Location: #205-15585 24 Avenue, Surrey, BC V4A 2J4
Requirements:
• A bachelor’s degree in education or a related field such as social sciences or business administration is required
• A master’s degree in education is an asset
• 3+ years of experience as a school teacher are an asset
• Relevant certifications or specialized training is an asset
Main Duties:
• Perform research activities, prepare detailed reports, and manage the implementation of education policies and programs
• Assess existing curriculum programs and suggest enhancements to improve their effectiveness
• Design and establish the framework, content, and goals for new educational programs
• Analyze statistical data to evaluate the cost-efficiency and impact of education policies and initiatives.
• Offer continuous professional development, training sessions, and advisory support to educators and other professionals across both public and private sectors
• Create instructional materials and other resources necessary for effective program delivery
• Present findings and insights at conferences, workshops, and professional meetings
• Potentially oversee the work of other researchers, consultants, or program officers involved in education policy
• May coordinate specialized testing and assessment initiatives
