Position: Early Childhood Educator Assistant
Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
Wage: $20.00~$22.00/hour (depending on experience)
Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
Number of Positions: 2

Job Duties:

Support early childhood educators in implementing programs that promote children’s physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development
Engage children in activities by telling stories, teaching songs, and preparing crafts
Assist with cooking and housekeeping tasks, and maintain equipment in a daycare centre
Prepare snacks and set up rooms for lunch and rest periods
Attend staff meetings to share the progress and problems of children
Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioural problems and prepare reports for parents, guardians or supervisor
Guide and assist children in the development of proper eating, dressing and toilet habits
May order necessary supplies and equipment for craft programs
Job requirements:

Language: English
Experience: 1~2 years of experience in childcare is required
Education: Completion of secondary school is required
Certificate: First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate, and E.C.E.A. Certificate
