Inspirations Montessori School is a licensed facility, we are a daycare for children from 30 months to school age. We provide a loving, caring, friendly, safely environment for your child. We are looking for an Early Childhood Supervisor to join our team.
Position: Early Childhood Supervisor
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
Start Date: As soon as possible
Hourly Wage: $36.60- $37.60 (Depends on qualification and work experience)
Working Hours: 30 hours per week
Working Location: 11020 Williams Rd, Richmond, BC, V7A 1J1
Benefits: 4% Vacation Pay
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and carry out learning activities for children that can help develop a passion for learning and provide opportunities to encourage expressing creativity through different ways
Maintain and provide a loving, caring, friendly, safely environment for children
Lead children in activities in reading and Storytime, preparing materials and for recreational activities
Guide and assist children in eating, dressing and potty training
Along with observing the interests, needs, and abilities of children, regularly communicate to the child's parents to keep parent updated with their children’s development
Observe, gather and prepare report for parents/guardians or manager of any learning problems or behaviour issues
Lead in the staff meeting, discuss progress and development of children
Encourage and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers, children and parents
Supervise other Early Childhood Education Worker and Early Childhood Educator Assistants
Qualification:
Completion of a college program in early childhood education or a bachelor's degree in child development is required
BC Valid Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate is required
2+ years of Previous work experience as an ECE is required
A clear medical exam check and vulnerable sector check
Ability to work in a team and self-motivated
Detail oriented, energetic, and work with repetitive tasks
