Work location- Unit 112, 15850 26 Ave Surrey, BC, Canada V3Z 2N6
Job Requirements:
-Education-Completion of Secondary School and Early Childhood Educator Assistant Certificate is required.
-Experience-Experience an asset , On job training will be provided
-Language-English.
Job responsibilities:
1-Assess the children’s development in order to prepare a learning plan tailored to his needs.
2-Develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children.
3-Assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children.
4-Assist early childhood educators or supervisors in keeping records.
5-Engage children in activities by telling stories, teaching songs and preparing crafts.
6-Establish guidelines for behaviour.
7-Attend staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children.
8-Supervise and co-ordinate activities of other early childhood educators and early childhood educator assistants.
