Job Description:
Maintain daycare equipment to ensure a safe and engaging environment.
Plan and maintain a secure, healthy, and supportive environment for children.
Assess each child's development to create a learning plan tailored to their needs.
Support early childhood educators in implementing programs that foster children’s physical, cognitive, emotional, and social growth.
Guide and assist children in developing healthy eating, dressing, and toileting habits.
Encourage children to express creativity through art, drama, music, and physical activities.
Engage children with storytelling, teaching songs, and preparing crafts.
Lead activities such as reading stories, teaching songs, and organizing excursions to local points of interest.
Organize activities for school-aged children in child-care programs before and after school hours.
Summarize each child’s overall progress and communicate updates to parents.
Participate in staff meetings to discuss children's progress and any challenges.
Languages: English
Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years or equivalent experience
On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
Work setting: Relocation costs covered by employer, Willing to relocate
