Plan, organize, and lead activities that promote children’s learning and overall development. Develop and deliver programs that support children’s physical, cognitive, emotional, and social growth. Lead group activities such as stories, songs, arts, dramatic play, games, and outdoor play. Ensure a safe, healthy, and caring environment. Observe, document, and share updates on children’s development and behaviour with families and staff. Identify learning or behavioural concerns and prepare reports. Support children with daily routines including eating, hygiene, dressing, and toileting. Build positive relationships with colleagues, families, and community partners. May oversee before- and after-school programs and supervise ECEs or assistants. Participate in staff meetings and help with basic record-keeping Maintain equipment and assist with housekeeping and simple meal prep
