Early Childhood Educator Assistant Job

Two Peas in a Pod Childcare Centre Inc. located at 410 Wiltse Blvd, Penticton, BC, V2A 7V8 is looking to hire Early Childhood Educator Assistant. Applicants should have either a minimum of 6 months of relevant experience or a Certificate/ Diploma in the related field. This is a full-time permanent position with 35- 40 hours of work per week. The salary will be $20.00 per hour.
Following are the job duties and responsibilities of this position:
• Assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children
• Assist early childhood educators or supervisors in keeping records
• Engage children in activities by telling stories, teaching songs and preparing crafts
• Guide and assist children in the development of proper eating, dressing and toilet habits
• Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security and well-being of children
