We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Early Childhood Educator Assistant to support
our teaching staff in delivering high-quality childcare and educational activities.
Key Responsibilities
The Early Childhood Educator Assistant will support Early Childhood Educators in providing
safe, structured, and developmentally appropriate care for children.
Duties include:
• Assist Early Childhood Educators in implementing daily programs that promote children’s
physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development
• Support children in daily routines including meals, dressing, toileting, and hygiene
• Assist in preparing and organizing learning materials and classroom activities
• Engage children in creative play, storytelling, music, and educational games
• Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment in accordance with health and safety
regulations
• Observe children for signs of learning or behavioral challenges and report observations to
supervising educators
• Assist with supervising children during indoor and outdoor activities
• Ensure proper record keeping related to children’s attendance and daily activities
• Support inclusive learning environments that respect diversity and cultural differences
• Follow all childcare licensing regulations and centre policies

Education
• Completion of secondary school is required
• Completion of an Early Childhood Educator Assistant certificate or related childcare training is
an asset
Experience
• Previous experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, or childcare setting is
preferred but not mandatory
Other Requirements
• Valid First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to work collaboratively in a childcare team environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children
