Requirements: Class 1 license with air brake endorsement or equivalent from any other province or country.
Location of Work: Various locations in lower mainland
Duties:
• Operate and drive primarily straight trucks, pony to dump ground from sites.
• Drive truck equipped with dump to transport and dump loose materials, such as sand, gravel, crushed rock, or paving materials.
• Tarping of loose materials, such as sand, gravel, crushed rock, or paving materials.
• Pull levers or turns crank to tilt body and dump contents.
• Perform pre-trip, en-route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle such as condition of equipment and loading/unloading of dump truck.
• Monitor vehicle performance, mechanical fitness, break adjustments and inspect tires.
