Tasks
Read blueprints, drawings and specifi cations to determine work requirements
Repair and service exterior prefabricated products
Document and prepare invoices and work orders
Prepare and maintain work materials and supplies
Load and unload trucks with supplies and equipment
Supervise other workers
Utilize hand and power tools
Erect and install scaffolding, falsework and other working platforms
Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs
Ensure electrical and plumbing installations meet government regulation
Prepare draft investigative reports of fi ndings
Monitor reaction processes and transfers of products in conformance with safety procedures
Conduct inspections and tests of a variety of mechanical and electronic weighing and measuring devices and systems
Test and inspect various kitchen exhaust systems including ultraviolet exhaust systems, energy saving systems, systems with water wash componentsand canopy hood systems.
Test and inspect ecologizer/ pollution control systems. Replace fi ltration units where required.
Test, inspect exhaust fan units for functionality. Perform repairs where necessary.
Check all components within the system for grease buildup - remove grease buildup for fi re protection purposes.
