Drywall Installers Supervisor (NOC 72014) Job

Right now, we are looking to hire two hardworking individuals who want to obtain long-term secure employment and gain valuable experience in a trade.

• Position: Drywall Installers Supervisor
• Number of vacancies: 2
• Work Hours: 40 hrs per week
• Wage: $37.50
• Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
• Start date: ASAP
• Benefits: 4% pay in lieu of vacation
• Work Location: Various Locations across the lower mainland.
Reporting to our main office located at: 110-7198 Vantage Way, Delta, BC, V4G 1K7

Key duties and Responsibilities
• Prepare production and other reports to present to owners and project manager
• Supervise a team of 5-10 Drywall Installers depending on each project
• Co-ordinate and schedule activities
• Oversee apprenticeship training
• Train or arrange for training
• Estimate costs and materials
• Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
• Recommend personnel actions
• Read blueprints and drawings to determine work for the day and plan accordingly
• Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies as needed
• Leading/instructing individuals as needed

Requirements/Education and other requirements
• Completion of secondary school required
• 3-5 years of work experience required in the same position or similar trade required.
• Be able to lift heavyweight and work under tight deadlines.
• English language mandatory
