Drywall Installer
S&G Drywall 2002 Ltd – Surrey, BC
Salary: $37.00/hour | 30–40 hours per week
Work Location: Various job sites across the Lower Mainland, BC

S&G Drywall 2002 Ltd is an established drywall and finishing company based in Surrey, BC, serving residential and commercial clients throughout the Lower Mainland.
Job Duties
Measure, cut, and fit drywall sheets for installation on walls and ceilings
Position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists
Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners
Fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using trowel and broad knife
Apply tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound
Smooth excess compound and allow each coat to dry
Apply successive coats of compound; sand seams and joints to a smooth finish
Fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids and place panels to form acoustical and coffered ceilings
Requirements
Completion of secondary school is required
One of the following:
Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience combined with some high school, college, or industry training OR
Completion of a 3 or 4-year apprenticeship program in drywalling or plastering
Proficiency in English (spoken and written)
Ability to work at various job sites across the Lower Mainland
