Drywall Installer Job

Punctual Construction & Drywall Ltd. is looking for one Drywall Installer for their business located at 6748 151A Street, Surrey, British Columbia, V3S 9G9. This is a full-time position with 8 hours a day and 40 hours per week.

As a Drywall Installer, you will be performing the following job duties:

-Apply drywall to walls or ceilings and sand areas after each coating.
-Fasten drywall panels to the inside framework of building.
-Prepare panels for painting by taping or finishing joints and smooth out imperfections.
-Work with ceiling tile installers to build walls.
-Read blueprints, measure, cut, fit and fasten panels.
-Prepare panels by sawing, drilling, or cutting holes in panels for electrical outlets, air-conditioning units, and plumbing.
-Screw panels to wood or metal framework and use a lift to place ceiling panels .
-Fill joints in-between panels with spackle and smooth away excess material.
-Cover nail and screw depressions with spackle and Use trowels to spread spackle.

Job Requirements:

-Completion of secondary school is required.
-2-4 years of work experience is required.
-Basic English as a language skill is required.
-Location of work – Various Locations in Lower mainland.

What we offer:

-$29.00 per hour
-4% vacation pay of the gross salary will be paid each pay period
