Drywall Installer Job

A&J Majha Walls & Ceiling Ltd. is looking for One Drywall Installer for their growing business, who could join immediately.
Below are details:
Work location: Various locations in Vancouver Island
Office: 345 Cordan street Nanaimo, British Columbia V9R 0E3
Anticipated Start date: As soon as possible
Compensation: $38.50 per hour
Work hours: 40 hours/week
Terms: Permanent full-time-3 years
Language of work: English

Job duties and responsibilities
• Install suspended and non-suspended flush jointed ceiling systems.
• Measure and cut the drywall and wallboard to install on walls and ceiling.
• Fit and secure the sheets to Aluminium and wooden frames with screws and nails.
• Cover joints, screws, nails and other imperfections with compounding material and wall putty
• Tape joints with fibre tape.
• Use trowels, taping tools, putty/joint knives etc.
• Finish with additional coats of compound and sand seams and joints.

Requirements:

• Education: Completion of Secondary School
• Work Experience:7 months to 1 Year
