Job Description:
We are currently seeking a skilled Drywall Installer and Finisher to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in our projects, ensuring the timely and precise installation and finishing of drywall in both residential and commercial settings.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately measure, cut, and install drywall panels on walls and ceilings.
• Secure drywall sheets to wooden or metal framing using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners.
• Fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using trowel and broad knife.
• Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in the compound.
• Smooth out excess compound and allow the coat to dry.
• Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints.
• Maintain an organized, safe, and clean job site.
• Repair existing drywall and contribute to remodeling and renovation work.
• Install suspended ceiling grids and acoustic/coffered ceiling tiles as needed.
• Assist with metal stud framing and layout as needed to support structural integrity.

Job Requirements:
• Previous experience as a drywall installer and finisher is not required but is considered as an asset.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and building plans.
• Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Additional skills in taping, framing, caulking, and painting are highly desirable.
• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to high-quality workmanship.
• Willingness to travel and stay in remote or out-of-town locations as needed.
