Job Description:
LOGracia Building Solutions Inc. is hiring one permanent, full-time Drywall Installer and Finisher for commercial and residential projects across the Halifax Regional Municipality.
Pay: $22.00 to $28.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
Hours: 40 hours per week.
Start date: As soon as possible.
Responsibilities:
• Measure, cut, fit and install drywall sheets on walls, ceilings, partitions and bulkheads.
• Install interior and exterior steel studs, metal stud framing and furring for drywall systems.
• Install fire-rated drywall assemblies and related materials as directed.
• Use hand tools, power tools and fasteners safely.
• Follow layout dimensions, foreman instructions and site safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Requirements:
• 1 year to less than 2 years of related experience.
• Commercial and/or residential construction experience.
• Ability to work at heights and in dusty or noisy job-site conditions.
• Physically able to handle heavy loads and repetitive tasks.
• Own vehicle and reliable transportation to HRM job sites.
• English is the workplace language.
