Drywall Installer and Finisher Job

We Care Restoration Ltd. is looking for full time Drywall Installer and Finisher at Bay 1 8712 107 St., Fort St. John BC V1J 5K7 Canada. There is 1 position available.

Main duties and responsibilities are as follows but not limited to:

• Measure, cut and fit drywall sheets for installation on walls and ceilings
• Position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs, joists, and other supporting structures
• Cut and install metal corner beads to protect and finish exterior corners
• Fill joints, nail indentations, holes, cracks and other surface imperfections using joint compound, trowels and broad knives
• Tape over drywall joints using hand tools or taping machine and embed tape in compound
• Smooth out excess compound and allow coat to dry
• Apply successive coats of joint compound; sand seams, joints, corners, and other finished surfaces in preparation for painting or other final finishes.
• Fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids and place in panels to form acoustical and coffered ceilings.
• Inspect completed work to ensure surfaces are smooth, level, and meet required quality standards

Hours of work are 40 hours/weeks (overtime paid after 40 hours). Pay is $30.00/hour. Candidates must speak English and have completed secondary school. Minimum work experience is 2 years hands on experience.
