Various residential and commercial construction sites
Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
Responsibilities

Tasks

Measure, cut, fit and install drywall sheets according to specifications.
Position and secure drywall sheets to metal or wooden studs and joists.
Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners.
Fill joints, nail indentations, holes and cracks with joint compound using trowels and broad knives.
Tape over joints using taping machines and embed tape in compound.
Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints to achieve a smooth finish.
Smooth out excess compound and allow coats to dry between applications.
Repair and patch damaged drywall surfaces.
Read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints and work orders.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment and follow workplace safety procedures.
Load, unload and transport construction materials as required.
