Drywall Installer Job

Chuhan Drywall Co is looking for one Drywall Installer for their business located at 3160 Townline Road, Suite 154 Abbotsford, BC V2T 5T4. This is a full-time position with 8 hours a day and 40 hours per week.

As a Drywall Installer, you will be performing the following job duties:
- Apply drywall to walls or ceilings and sand areas after each coating.
- Fasten drywall panels to the inside framework of building.
- Prepare panels for painting by taping or finishing joints and smooth out imperfections.
- Work with ceiling tile installers to build walls.
- Read blueprints, measure, cut, fit and fasten panels.
- Prepare panels by sawing, drilling, or cutting holes in panels for electrical outlets, air-conditioning units, and plumbing.
- Screw panels to wood or metal framework and use a lift to place ceiling panels .
- Fill joints in-between panels with spackle and smooth away excess material.
- Cover nail and screw depressions with spackle and Use trowels to spread spackle.

Job Requirements:
- Completion of secondary school is required.
- 2-4 years of work experience is required.
- Basic English as a language skill is required.
- Location of work - Various Locations in Lower mainland.

What we offer:
- $37.00 per hour
- 4% vacation pay of the gross salary will be paid each pay period
- Terms of Employment: Full-time, permanent job position
