Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week

Schedule: Early morning, evening, flexible hours, morning, night, day and weekend

Education
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
Experience
1 to less than 7 months of relevant experience.
Job Responsibilities
The Drywall and Acoustical Installer Helper will be responsible for assisting with general construction activities and supporting work at residential, commercial and industrial construction sites. Responsibilities include:
Assist with loading, unloading and transporting construction materials to and from work areas.
Move and organize materials, tools and equipment at construction sites.
Measure weight and assist in preparing materials for rigging and hoisting.
Assist with mixing, pouring and spreading construction materials such as concrete and asphalt.
Provide assistance during drilling and blasting activities on construction sites, as required.
Remove rubble, waste materials and other debris from construction areas.
Keep work areas clean, organized and free from hazards.
Follow instructions from supervisors and experienced construction workers.
Perform physically demanding and repetitive construction-related tasks.
Follow workplace health and safety procedures while working outdoors, at heights and in dusty environments.
Assist with maintaining an efficient and safe construction site.
Perform other related construction helper duties as required.
Job Duties
