Drone Technicians are expected to excel in the assembly, maintenance, and repair of various drones and their components. Ability to perform pre-flight checks, conduct flights for testing and quality assurance, manage software and firmware updates, and maintain parts inventories. Candidates must posses a keen attention to detail, problem solving, ability to work under pressure, a strong interest in aviation and technology and adaptability to a rapidly evolving field. Work location- On site
Salary- $34.00 to 39.00 hourly (To be negotiated) / 37.5 hours per week
Terms of employment- Permanent employment- Full time- Early morning, Flexible hours, Morning, Day

Overview

Education- College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
Experience- 3 years to less than 5 years
On site- Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Responsibilities/ Tasks
Create manufacturing instructions
Create user manuals
Install machinery
Repair and maintain machinery
Assist in inspection of mechanical installations and construction projects
Assist in preparing design, drawings and specifications
Carry out a limited range of mechanical tests and analyses of machines, components and materials
Computer-aided design (CAD)
Design tools, moulds, jigs and fixtures
Estimate costs and materials
Prepare and interpret engineering design, drawings and specifications
Prepare contracts and tenders
Prepare standards and schedules
Test machines and equipment
