Driller Helper - NOC 75110 Job

Position: Driller Helper

• Load and unload construction materials and move materials to work areas.
• Assist heavy equipment operators to secure special attachments to equipment, signal operators to guide them in moving equipment and provide assistance in other activities.
• Assist in drilling.
• Assist miners in excavating and in setting up and operating various drills and other surface mining machinery.
• Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction such as mixers, compressors, and pumps.
• Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants.
• Oil and grease equipment.
• Perform other activities as directed.

Skills Requirements:
• Standard First Aid with CPR C with Transportation Endorsement
• Valid Driver’s License
• Minimum 1 year’ experience assisting in the operation of U5 and Hydracore diamond drills.
• Minimum 1 year’ experience assisting in the operation of directional drill tooling (e.g. Devico or Mud Motor)
• Must pass a Drug and Alcohol test.
Wages and Benefits:
• Driller Helper wage: $27.00/hour
• Meterage Bonus: $1.00 - $2.50 per meter
• Travel Expenses paid by employer.
