Drafting technologist by Shikder Design and Drafting Ltd.
Location: Vancouver, V5V 4G4
Wage: $32 hourly/ 40 hours per week
Type: Permanent employment full-time
Timings: Evening, morning
Start date: As soon as possible
Language: English
Education: College/ CEGEP
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
Responsibilities:
• Prepare engineering designs and drawings.
• Read blueprints to determine work requirements.
• Supervise other drafting personnel.
• Train new drafting personnel.
• Develop and prepare design sketches.
• Prepare construction specifications, costs and material estimates.
• Prepare contracts and tenders.
• Write technical reports.
• Estimate costs and material.
• Complete documentation packages and drawing sets.
• Examine drawings for conformity and errors.
• Consult with client, engineers or production specialists to establish product requirements.
Credentials: Certificates, licenses, memberships, and courses
• AutoCAD certification
Experience and specialization:
