Job Responsibilities
• Develop detailed kitchen, cabinetry, and millwork drawings based on design concepts, site measurements, and client specifications.
• Prepare CAD drawings, layouts, elevations, and installation details for custom kitchen projects.
• Create complete documentation and shop drawing packages for manufacturing and installation.
• Review and verify drawings to ensure accuracy, quality standards, and compliance with project requirements.
• Prepare material take-offs, cost estimates, and assist with pricing as needed.
• Coordinate with designers, project managers, production staff, and installers to ensure designs are practical and accurately executed.
• Maintain organized digital project files and drawing revisions.
• Assist with technical documentation, proposals, and contracts when required.
• Provide guidance or support to junior drafters or technicians as needed.
Job Requirements
• Full Time Availability
Completion of a post-secondary program in drafting, design technology, or a related field.
• Proficiency in CAD software
• 1 year experience is required
• Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
