Drafter Job

1)Collaborate closely with the design team to produce detailed construction drawings for residential and commercial renovation projects
2)Utilize CAD software, such as AutoCAD or Revit, to create accurate and comprehensive drawings that reflect client specifications and project requirements
3)Conduct site visits to gather essential data and assess existing conditions, facilitating the development of precise drawings and plans
4)Incorporate feedback from clients, designers, and stakeholders to refine and enhance drafting deliverables throughout the project life-cycle
5)Ensure all drawings comply with building codes, zoning regulations, and safety standards, maintaining a high level of accuracy and precision
6)Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to resolve technical issues and ensure seamless integration of design elements into construction plans
7)Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in renovation and drafting techniques
8)Support the design team by assisting with design research, material sourcing, and other related tasks as needed

-Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in architecture, drafting, or a related field
-Minimum of 3 years of experience in residential or commercial renovation projects, demonstrating proficiency in drafting and construction documentation
-Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD or Revit, with a strong understanding of drafting principles and techniques
-Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce accurate drawings according to project requirements
-Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team environment
-Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements
