Drafter IV Job

We are seeking an Electrical Drafter IV with expertise in CREO 7 (or higher), cabling, and harnessing to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical schematic design, electrical panel layouts, and PLC I/O drawings. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with 5-8 years of CREO experience, along with Windchill expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop detailed electrical design drawings and specifications using CREO 7 (or higher).
• Create electrical panel layouts, schematics, and PLC I/O drawings.
• Work on cabling and harnessing designs with precision and accuracy.
• Utilize Windchill for document management and design coordination.
• Collaborate with lead designers to implement change notices and manage multiple projects.
• Ensure all drawings comply with engineering standards and best practices.
• Coordinate with engineers and team members to ensure seamless design execution.

Must-Have Skills & Experience:
• 5-8 years of experience with CREO 7 (or higher), including cabling and harnessing.
• Strong expertise in Windchill for data and design management.
• Experience in electrical schematic design, panel layouts, and PLC I/O drawings.
• Ability to interpret and create precision technical plans, blueprints, and models.
• Knowledge of engineering principles, electrical materials, and design techniques.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) tools and electrical documentation practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED required; technical certifications in electrical drafting or CAD design are a plus.
• Experience working in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration.
• Ability to work independently while following project guidelines and deadlines.
This hybrid role offers flexibility with on-site and remote work based on business needs. The position follows a Monday-Friday schedule (40 hours per week) with a flexible start and end time. This contract role has a strong possibility of turning into a full-time position.
