Job Description:
Job Duties and Responsibilities
• Supervise glaziers, installers, helpers, and labourers on residential and commercial glazing projects.
• Review drawings and specifications to determine installation methods, labour needs, and work sequences.
• Schedule daily work, assign tasks, and coordinate activities with contractors and other trades.
• Oversee the installation of aluminum windows, doors, railings, sunrooms, and related glass components.
• Prepare progress and completion reports covering labour, materials, delays, and corrective work.
• Estimate project costs and order required glass, aluminum components, hardware, equipment, and supplies.
• Inspect installations for compliance with project specifications, building codes, and company quality standards.
• Resolve installation problems and recommend measures to improve productivity and workmanship.
• Train workers and ensure compliance with safety procedures, equipment requirements, and company policies.
Skills & Qualifications
• Completion of secondary school.
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in related industry.
• 30-40 hours per week
