Dog Groomer Job

5+ year experience in dog grooming a must. Must be able to work independently and be punctual. Must have all of their own grooming equipment. We are an independently contracted salon that is commission based only which means your pay is determined by the amount of dogs you do in a day. Must have a good work ethic and treat the dogs with the upmost care and compassion. Flexibility is needed, this is a part time employment opportunity, ideally 3-4 days and we close up shop when we are done for the day, so no set hours other than our opening time at 8am. 

We are a quaint little groom shop located on the border of Santee and Lakeside. Most of the other groomers in the shop are older in age and we often find ourselves working with older dogs as well since our groom shop has been around for over 40 years! A lot of the clientele we have here at Lakeside Dog Grooming are people and animals that have been coming to this shop for years. We do get quite a few new ones as well, though. We have recently lost a great groomer to retirement and we are looking for the perfect match to fill in the gaps of her absence. Looking forward to it!
