Sun 4-9pm,Thurs 7:30am-1:30pm, Friday 4pm-9pm, Sat 4pm-9pm

We would like people with animal experience or those who have work in the health care services and understand the meaning of taking care of living things. This is a great job but at times involves cleaning after and monitoring animals health and can get messy.
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dog attendant to join our pet care team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily dog care operations, ensuring the safety and well-being of our canine clients’ pets. This role requires a strong background in animal handling, training, and combined with excellent customer service skills. The Dog attendant plays a vital role in providing exceptional pet care services while maintaining a safe and nurturing environment for animals and staff alike.

Responsibilities

Assist with dog training sessions to promote good behavior and obedience
Handle dogs safely during grooming, and other procedures
Care tasks, including feeding, cleaning, and monitoring health status
Manage kennel areas by cleaning, organizing, and maintaining hygiene standards
Educate pet owners on proper pet care, training techniques, and behavioral management
Handle heavy lifting of supplies or animals when necessary to ensure smooth daily operations
Requirements

Previous experience in dog training, veterinary assisting, pet grooming, or kennel work is highly preferred
Strong animal handling skills with knowledge of animal restraint technique
Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients and team members
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely (up to 50 pounds) as part of daily duties
Compassionate attitude towards animals with a genuine interest in their well-being
Reliable work ethic with the ability to follow safety protocols and procedures
Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform active tasks throughout the day
