Division Manager - HVAC & Refrigeration - NOC 70010 Job

Phase Canada Inc. is seeking a highly motivated, skilled with a strong background in commercial HVAC and project management. This is a leadership role with significant autonomy and responsibility. You will be the go-to expert for managing crews, overseeing installations, coordinating with project managers and clients, and ensuring jobs are completed profitably on time and to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the HVAC (Heating, ventilation and air conditioning system projects) - Refrigeration Division from planning to execution ensuring on time and on budget completion to high standards;
• Supervise and mentor HVAC- Division workers and apprentices;
• Oversee commercial HVAC Design- installations, repairs, and ductwork on all commercial systems;
• Perform Heat Load calculations and provide technical insight and troubleshooting as required
• Oversee HVAC service department and technicians;
• Plan, coordinate, and manage project timelines, materials, and budgets;
• Communicate with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders;
• Ensure all work complies with Alberta Building Code, safety standards, and company quality requirements;
• Provide input on hiring, equipment, and division strategy as the department grows
• Dispatch Technicians;
• Invoicing for projects & day to day Jobs.

Requirements

• Journeyman Refrigeration & HVAC Certification (Alberta or Equivalent);
• Minimum 5 years of commercial HVAC experience;
• Minimum 5 years commercial and residential HVAC management experience;
• Proven project management experience;
• HVAC System Design;
• Strong leadership and organizational skills;
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills;
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record;
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications;
• Experience with Microsoft office;
• Experience with CRM Software mandatory (Service Titan preferable).
