Dispatchers Supervisor Job

Dispatch supervisors coordinate, supervise, and oversee the activities of workers involved in the scheduling, routing, and tracking of transportation, deliveries, and logistics. They ensure efficient movement of goods or services by managing dispatch staff, communicating with drivers or service providers, and resolving scheduling issues.

Supervise, plan, assign and review the work of dispatching crews; scheduling transportation crews and routes; and other related activities.
Ensure compliance with policies, procedures for safety and security, standards and regulations in force and participate in their improvement.
Resolve various problems and related complaints and implement corrective measures and process improvements.
Ensure smooth operation of computer systems and arrange for maintenance and repair work.
May conduct performance reviews of supervised workers.
Completion of a post-secondary education program of two to three years in related field is usually required.
