Vacancy: Dispatcher Supervisor
Position available: 1
Salary: $36.75 hourly
Hours: 30 to 40 per week

Experience: 1 to 2 years of experience
Education: completion of secondary school

Duties:
• Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of dispatchers responsible for routing and scheduling transportation crews and routes.
• Monitor daily operations to ensure efficient assignment of drivers, vehicles, and routes.
• Ensuring that dispatchers, drivers adhere to safety regulations and practices including vehicle maintenance, driver safety and compliance with transportation laws.
• Review and adjust routing plans to optimize delivery schedules, reduce delays, and improve service efficiency.
• Resolve operational issues such as scheduling conflicts, delays, vehicle breakdowns, or customer complaints.
• Ensure smooth operation of computer systems, equipment and machinery and arrange for maintenance and repair work
• Order office supplies and materials.
• Participate in hiring, training, and evaluating dispatch staff.
• Prepare work schedules and assign tasks to ensure adequate coverage and productivity.
• Addressing customer inquiries, concerns and issues related to deliveries and shipments.
• Coordinate with clients to ensure service requirements and delivery timelines are met.
