Description: P&R Randhawa Transport Inc. is seeking an experienced Dispatch Logistician. We are an eminent transportation service provider servicing the Short and Long Haul services.
Duties include:
• Supervise and coordinate the duties of dispatchers and transportation crews and schedulers.
• Schedule transportation crews and routes and oversee the daily dispatch duties of the company
• Track all incoming and outgoing deliveries and containers
• Order taking and data entry
• Liaison with customers to ensure that all delivery deadlines and special delivery requests are met with satisfaction
• Troubleshoot and resolve customer complaints
• Schedule and direct tractor trailer drivers to designated locations for pickups and delivery of goods
• Set up loading and delivery appointments and obtaining permits for trucks as needed.
• Assist sales department with queries related to sales/rate calls, billing and invoicing.
• Answer phone calls related to Dispatch enquiries
• Prepare and submit progress reports to Management and co-ordinate activities with other office staff

Basic Qualifications:
• Post-Secondary Education
• Minimum 1 year previous work experience as a dispatch logistician.
