Job Description:
Our client, a leading hospital, is seeking a Director for its Women and Family Center.
The Clinical Director will provide both clinical and administrative leadership across a defined service line, with accountability for the implementation of the organizations vision, mission, and standards of care. This role oversees the 24-hour operations of a 4-bed LDR and maternal triage unit, 14-bed postpartum unit, nursery, and 4-bed pediatric unit.
The Director will lead the evaluation and development of nursing and ancillary staff across labor and delivery, postpartum and womens health, nursery, and pediatrics. The role requires close collaboration with hospital leadership and interdisciplinary teams to ensure delivery of high-quality, mission-aligned care. The Director is also responsible for budget management, optimizing maternal-child services, and ensuring full compliance with JCAHO and other regulatory agencies.

Job Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Current, unencumbered Iowa RN license (or Compact State license)
BSN required
AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Minimum 5 years of clinical experience in women's health, maternity, or pediatrics
Leadership or management experience preferred
Iowa Mandatory Reporter certifications for Child and Dependent Adult Abuse
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Nursing Administration, Healthcare Administration, or Business Administration
