Job Description:
arc programs is looking for a Full-Time Director of Services at the Family Connection Centre (NOC 40030). This is a full-time, permanent position with 40 hours per week.
Job Description:
• Provide management and oversight of Practice Leads, and services provided by the Family Connection Centre.
• Establish and/or implement long-range and strategic plans and agency services, assessing, and resolving service delivery issues and developing or revising agency procedures and practices.
• Direct and evaluate program operations to ensure services are delivered in accordance with agency standards, applicable legislation, best practices, and the needs of children and youth with support needs (disability, neurodiversity, and developmental needs), and families.
• Develop, implement, and monitor strategic and operational plans, ensuring continuous improvement, effective resource utilization, and achievement of organizational objectives.
• Identify and resolve service delivery issues, and establish, revise, and implement policies, procedures, and practices to enhance program effectiveness and quality of care.
• Provide leadership in trauma-informed, strengths-based, and attachment-focused service delivery.

• Foster collaborative relationships with families, community partners, and external stakeholders to strengthen service integration and positive outcomes for children and youth.
Job Requirements:
• Advanced education (master-level degree preferred) in the social services field is required, with excellent oral, written, facilitation and interpersonal communications skills and proficient report writing and record keeping abilities.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a related occupation, such as a community and social service worker, social or health policy researcher, consultant or program officer, probation or parole officer, or social worker.
• Must have experience in policy, legislation and practice for Children and Youth with Support Needs (disability, neurodiversity, and developmental needs).
• Experience working in Centre based models, health care or hospital triage models.
• In-depth working knowledge of supporting individuals with neurodiversity, disability and developmental support needs, as well as knowledge of applicable legislation, policies, and issues impacting agency-community relations
• In-depth working knowledge of the specific programs and services provided by the agency and the FCC, applicable legislation and policies, and issues impacting agency-community relations
• Be well-versed in trauma-informed care.
• Be skilled at establishing trusting relationships with children, youth, and families / caregivers
• Have a strong understanding of strengths-based systems and attachment-based support.
• Have excellent communication and coaching skills.
• Have knowledge of and experience with conflict resolution and stress de-briefing techniques.
• Function effectively both independently and as part of a team, in a fast-paced working environment
• Work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
• Language in the workplace is English
We offer:
• $8,333.33 - $8,650.00 per month based on qualifications and experience.
• Benefits package after 90 days of work.
