What you’ll do...
• Develop the operational strategy and annual business plans for the company’s hot pot restaurant network in collaboration with the CEO including regional and location-level goals.
• Establish and implement company-wide operating standards — food quality, kitchen and hot pot SOPs, service, and brand experience — and make sure they're delivered consistently in every location.
• Allocate financial, material and people resources across the network, set food-cost and labour targets, and approve location budgets and menu pricing.
• Lead operations across all restaurants through the operational management team, including Regional Managers and Restaurant Managers, to improve quality, guest satisfaction and profitability.
• Provide operational direction on supply-chain planning and collaborate with the supply department to maintain product availability, cost efficiency, and consistent quality across the restaurant network.
• Hire and mentor middle managers, delegate operational authority, set clear KPIs, and create the conditions for them to succeed.
• Direct the company’s expansion initiatives, including new-location planning, entry into new markets, and the standardized implementation of the Big Way operating model at each new restaurant.
• Track performance across the group — sales, operating costs, profitability, guest experience and food-safety compliance — and step in with corrective plans when needed.
• Represent Big Way in negotiations and key relationships with landlords, business partners and regulatory authorities.

We’re looking for someone to have...
• A university degree in business administration, hospitality/restaurant management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in restaurants, food service or hospitality, including multi-unit or senior management responsibility.
• A proven track record of running multi-location operations and delivering on financial targets.
• Strong strategic thinking, financial acumen, and people-leadership skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a solutions-focused approach
• Willingness to travel extensively throughout Canada
