Director of Finance Job

• Be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the organization and ensuring its fiscal health.
• Planning, organizing, and implementing financial control policies.
• Periodically reviewing approved policies and procedures to ensure compliance and discussing deviations with stakeholders.
• Leading the hiring, training, and supervision of finance staff, including billing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable teams.
• Continuously onboarding and mentoring new team members to maintain an efficient finance department.
• Collaborating with the CEO and other executives to prepare organizational budgets and forecasts, including SAC and Family Planning budgets.
• Compiling and preparing quarterly and annual federal grant reports using EHB and Grants.gov.
• Preparing and presenting detailed financial and program activity reports for the Board of Directors, Chief Executive Officer, and senior management.
• Providing analyses of key financial indicators, including balance sheet and revenue & expense reports.
• Coordinating external audits and ensuring the organization adheres to internal control procedures.

Requirements:
• Master’s Degree in Business Administration, in the related field of study.
• Two years of experience working with a hospital in financial accounting and reporting, participation in budget preparation, implementation of internal control systems, and facilitated external audits.
• Knowledge of Organizational Theory, Research Methods, Organizational Behavior, Organizational Development & Change, Groups & Team Behavior and Statistics for research.
• Proficient in Finance, Financial accounting and Reporting, Budgeting, Research, and Communication
