Job Description:
This position will provide statewide educational program leadership for the following areas: Faculty Quality Assurance, Assessment, Curriculum Development, Instructional Design & General Education. This position works with WTCS colleges to foster collaboration among and between System and college staff in support of the faculty lifecycle and instructional excellence. Responsibilities include providing leadership in the monitoring, evaluation, and continuous improvement of the WTCS Faculty Quality Assurance System; leadership and support of Systemwide instructional excellence efforts; approval of course and curricula; planning and facilitation of meetings, including the coordination of professional development opportunities for college staff; assessment and support of stakeholder needs; collaboration with external partners; and other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Minimally qualified candidates will have each of the following:
Experience leading, facilitating or coaching a team of skilled professionals
Experience planning, designing or conducting professional development opportunities for diverse groups
Experience in curriculum development or instructional design
In addition, highly qualified candidates will have one or more of the following:
Experience in designing and managing program evaluation processes, analyzing educational data, or implementing continuous improvement strategies
Experience with diverse education technology tools (Padlet, Menti, Microsoft Education, Poll Everywhere, etc.)
Experience working with post-secondary educational institutions
Experience leading, facilitating or coaching a team of skilled professionals
Experience planning, designing or conducting professional development opportunities for diverse groups
Experience in curriculum development or instructional design
In addition, highly qualified candidates will have one or more of the following:
