Job Description:
There's a well-established construction business in CT and NY with the work, the team, and the executive support to grow. What they need now is the person to continue to drive it forward.
This isn't a turnaround. The foundation is solid.
Commercial portfolio covers restoration, interiors, retail, office, institutional, and light industrial... with some high-end residential in the mix. The work is there. What they're building toward is aggressive regional expansion across Connecticut and New York, and they need a leader who's done that before.
You'd run 6-7 Project Managers directly. Full project lifecycle ownership... preconstruction through closeout... with the authority to set how things operate.
The growth mandate is specific: saturate and expand the CT/NY footprint. New client relationships, new market opportunities, and the strategic thinking to find them. You'd be partnering directly with executive leadership to set annual targets and build toward them... not inheriting someone else's plan.
This reports directly to the top. If you want proximity to decisions and room to actually build something, that's what's on the table.
Regional travel across CT and NY is part of the job.
If this sounds like the right move, reach out. I'll share the full picture... company, comp, and context... in a quick conversation.

Company Profile:
Carl Bradford has spent more than 50 years in executive recruiting... the last three decades building and refining the methodology he now uses exclusively at Bradford Consulting.
He founded Bradford Consulting in 1992 as a national executive search practice. Before that, he spent nearly 30 years as a National Practice Director and master trainer, certifying more than 2,000 internal recruiting professionals in performance-based hiring approaches.
His practice focuses on four verticals: Healthcare, Engineering, Construction, and Manufacturing.
The work is built around a single question: what does this person need to accomplish in the first year to make you say that was exactly the right hire? Every search starts there.
Bradford Consulting operates nationally. Carl works directly with companies as an outside firm... one senior point of contact, start to finish.
