Director, Financial Reporting Job

Under the general direction of the Assistant Vice President of Finance, the Director of Financial Reporting for Cook Children's leads the members of the Finance Team in:

• financial reporting process

• financial analytics/modeling

• revenue management

• strategic analytics

• overall financial analysis for CCMC.

As our Director of Financial Reporting, you will provide communication necessary to inform leadership on key metrics for financial data, financial analysis, volume data, and trend analyses. You will manage, and establish, sound processes and procedures in alignment with GAAP, internal auditing standards and all other applicable state and federal regulations, while maintaining strong support for the organization on a day-to-day basis.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree required in Business/Finance/Accounting, Management, Statistics, or similar field

• Masters' degree (MA, MS, MBA or MHA) or CPA required

• Demonstrated ability to analyze, prioritize and problem solve

• Must have high level of proficiency with computer applications (i.e. Excel, Access, PowerPoint, including graphing and complex formulas often linking multiple Excel worksheets)

• Eight years minimum in health care or financial analysis experience within a health care institution

• 3-5 years management experience required
