Pay Rate: $19.00 – $22.00 per diem
Contract: Per Diem
Shift: Day Shift

Job Summary
The Direct Support Professional (DSP) provides compassionate,
person-centered care to individuals with developmental or
intellectual disabilities in a home care setting. This role focuses on
supporting daily living activities, promoting independence, ensuring
safety, and enhancing overall quality of life.

Requirements
? High School Diploma or GED required
? Must be at least 18 years of age
? Experience in home care or working with individuals with
developmental disabilities preferred
? Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (if required)
? CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
? Ability to assist with lifting and mobility support as needed
? Strong interpersonal, communication, and caregiving skills

Responsibilities
? Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including
bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility
? Support meal preparation, feeding, and medication reminders per
care plan
? Maintain a clean, safe, and organized home environment (light
housekeeping and laundry)
? Provide companionship, emotional support, and supervision
? Encourage independence and participation in daily and
community activities
? Monitor and report changes in health, behavior, or living
conditions
? Ensure compliance with DDD, agency, and state regulations
? Complete required documentation accurately and timely
? Participate in training sessions and team meetings
