Summary
BD Advanced Patient Monitoring (APM) is seeking a strategic and hands-on Digital Asset Manager to lead the day-to-day management of our digital asset management (DAM) system. This 12-month contractor role is ideal for someone with deep experience in Adobe AEM Assets and a passion for building scalable systems that support marketing, creative, and commercial teams. You’ll be responsible for managing the files uploaded from our agency partners, uploading assets in a timely manner into our DAM, tagging files appropriately so marketing and commercial team members can find files easily, and maintaining order within our business unit’s partition of the DAM. You will also be responsible for migrating key files from our legacy DAM to ensure continuity.

By partnering with marketing colleagues and agency partners, you’ll play a pivotal role in achieving our business objectives that support key initiatives, product launches, and market development efforts. Key Responsibilities:
• Upload, tag, and organize assets for APM in alignment with established BD guidelines.
• Collaborate with APM Brand team, Regional Marketing teams, and agency partners to ensure assets are current, approved, and properly tagged / categorized.
• Migrate core assets from legacy DAM into AEM Assets, ensuring metadata integrity.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure assets are uploaded in correct locations and metadata is accurate.
• Serve as the primary point of support for DAM-related questions from APM team and agency partners.

Other incidental duties as required.

Additional Details:
• Location: On-site 4 days per week at BD office in Irvine, CA
• Work Hours: Standard business hours, Monday–Friday
• Compensation: $50–$65/hour (W-2 through staffing agency, based on experience)
Job Requirements:
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
• 4+ years of experience managing digital assets, with at least 2 years using AEM Assets
• Strong understanding of metadata, taxonomy, and various digital file formats
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple workstreams
• Flexibility and comfort with ambiguity in a complex, evolving environment
• Professional communication and follow-up skills across functions
• A proactive mindset and ability to work independently while navigating internal processes

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working in regulated industries (e.g., medtech, pharma, life sciences, financial services)
