Digital Accessibility Associate Job

Gould Intelligent (an Arizona company) is seeking a Digital Accessibility Associate for a 4+ month contract position in Phoenix, AZ. Two weeks onsite training in downtown and then work can be done remotely but must work Monday – Friday between 7 and 5. Pay is $20 - 25/hr.

Candidate will be transforming PDFs into fully compliant, accessible documents. Will be responsible for ensuring documents meet WCAG 2.1 AA and PDF/UA standards. This position will require the use of tools such as Adobe Acrobat Pro and Grackle to make PDFs understandable by assistive technologies such as screen readers.

Preferred candidate will have experience with HTML/CSS, WCAG, Grackle and/or Adobe Acrobat Pro. Accessibility certifications are a plus.

Must be eligible to work on a W2 basis for any U.S. employer without sponsorship (no 3rd parties or corp to corp), currently reside in the Phoenix Metro area, be able to train onsite, be able to start with 2 weeks’ notice, and be able to pass relevant background check.
