POSITION SUMMARY
The Dietitian- Certified Diabetes Educator provides Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) and diabetes care education for individuals, programs, and population groups. Actions are focused on comprehensive patient diabetes assessment, education, prevention, risk reduction and treatment goals for optimal nutrition and health status outcomes. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams in order to achieve desirable outcomes. Continuation of this position is contingent upon funding allocations.
