Rayacom Print and Packaging BC Ltd.
Rayacom Print and Packaging BC Ltd. is a leading printing and packaging manufacturer with a dedicated division specializing in custom-made corrugated paper boxes. We are currently seeking an Die Cut Converting Supervisor (NOC 92014) for our packaging manufacturing operations.
Position Overview:
The Operations Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily activities of production workers in the die cut packaging division. This role includes supervising staff, ensuring production targets are met, and planning and managing production schedules to maintain quality and efficiency.
Job Description
• Supervise, coordinate and schedule the activities of workers in the die cut paper box and packaging manufacturing company.
• Ensure that systems and equipment are operating efficiently and that proper maintenance and repairs are performed
• Establish methods to meet work schedules and coordinate work activities with other departments
• Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
• Requisition materials and supplies
• Train staff in job duties, safety procedures and company policies
• Recommend personnel actions such as hirings and promotions and administer the collective agreement
• Prepare production and other reports
• Monitor safety conditions
• May set up machines and equipment
• Plan Production
Requirements:
• Must at least have 3 years experience in planning and operation in the die cut packaging industry
• Able to set up and operate die cut converting machine
• Completion of Secondary School
• Must be able to communicate in English
• Willing to work overtime and weekends
Position Available: Die Cut Converting Supervisor (NOC 92014)
Terms of Employment: Full Time, Permanent
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 7am to 4pm
Salary: $38.50 per hour
